Earlier this year, I introduced a paid tier to this newsletter and was genuinely excited. It felt like the natural next step after a great year on Substack. Bells were rung and I had grand plans. But very quickly, I realised something felt off. It didn’t align with the reason I started this space in the first place.
This newsletter has never just been about fashion—it’s about the thinking behind getting dressed. The overthinking, even. It’s about those “should I return this?” spirals and that weird joy you feel when you finally figure out why you hate an outfit. So I paused. I closed the paid tier and went back to the drawing board.
And from that moment of uncertainty came something I’m really proud of: Wardrobe Therapy.
What is Wardrobe Therapy?
Wardrobe Therapy is a three-session styling service where I help you understand the motivations behind your style—so that getting dressed feels less like a crisis and more like a conversation with your true self.
It’s not about buying more or becoming a walking Pinterest board. It’s about learning how to make your current wardrobe work for you, not against you. No more panic-buying the wrong trousers because someone on TikTok said they were “essential”.
We’ll dig into what you’re drawn to, decode your taste patterns, and build a foundation of personal style that’s grounded in who you actually are and not who you are told to be.
Why Wardrobe Therapy?
Because clothes are never just clothes. They’re tiny, everyday clues about who we are and who we’re becoming.
And if you’re like me, you’ve probably spent a decent amount of time wondering why you feel amazing in one outfit and completely unbalanced in another. Why you’re obsessed with your saved folder, yet nothing in your wardrobe reflects it. Why you keep buying “basics” only to never wear them. (Let’s talk about it.)
This service is born from that curiosity. It’s based on the principle that our personal style isn’t built on shopping hauls and must-haves—it’s shaped by the reasons behind the choices we make. I want to help you slow down, zoom in, and get clear on those reasons.
Just to be clear
This is NOT personal styling. You’re not here for someone to tell you what to wear. You’re here because you want to understand why you’re wearing what you’re wearing.
This is styling with depth. Less “these jeans go with that blazer”, more “why do I keep reaching for this and ignoring everything else in my wardrobe?”
Who is it for?
You have vision—but your wardrobe feels like a weird patchwork of mistakes, impulse buys, and “I guess this will do” pieces.
You’re not a beginner, but you’re not fully locked in either—you’re hovering in “I get it but it’s not giving” territory.
You want to feel like yourself in your clothes, not like you're always cosplaying someone else.
You’re bored of “building a capsule wardrobe” for the fourth time and still feeling lost.
What people are saying
"Morenike’s styling sessions helped me affirm my personal style. She allowed me to understand why I was drawn to my favourite pieces and created a roadmap to shopping more sustainably, instead of buying things I could never incorporate into my wardrobe. Her sessions made me feel more confident in my clothing which ultimately helped me feel like my most confident self generally! She has a special way of helping you nurture your intrinsic taste and feel most like yourself. She made dressing up fun again. 100% would recommend, even if you’re not a ‘fashion girlie’ like myself."

What does it involve?
Session One: Who Are You?
An exploration of your current wardrobe habits and motivations. What do you reach for regularly, and what does that say about your style identity?

Session Two: Who Do You Want to Be?
We examine your style aspirations, inspirations, and the emotional and visual cues you’re drawn to.

Session Three: Bridging the Gap
We bring everything together. Using what we’ve uncovered, we’ll explore your wardrobe, identify key pieces, and create looks that speak to your evolving style. This session is designed to give you clarity and momentum.

By the end of Wardrobe Therapy, you’ll have:
– A clearer, more confident sense of personal style
– Insight into why certain outfits do or don’t work for you
– A strategy to shop more intentionally and style what you already own

That’s okay. I’ll be sharing more about the ideas behind Wardrobe Therapy in future newsletters, so stay tuned. But if you’ve ever stood in front of your wardrobe and thought “I have nothing to wear and no clue who I am,” then you’re exactly who this is for.
