047: Closing Out 2024

Hello everyone,

As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to express my immense gratitude to each of you who subscribed, commented, and shared my posts this year. Your support has meant everything.

Last December, an amazing friend encouraged me to restart this Substack. I was excited but also daunted by the responsibility of delivering quality content every week. I worried I might run out of things to say (hard to believe for a lifelong chatterbox) or struggle to provide consistent value over time. But the unwavering enthusiasm and encouragement from this community motivated me to stay the course. Aside from an absent 2 weeks, I was able to publish regularly and even hit my goal of reaching 1,000 subscribers before the year’s end. Woo!

None of this would have been possible without the incredible people in my life. To my parents, who have always encouraged me to express myself and value my voice, and to my friends and sister, who uplift me and affirm my purpose in this space—thank you. Your support and encouragement mean the world to me.

I’m also deeply grateful for this growing community. Every like, comment, and share is noticed and appreciated. I’m eager to continue evolving and improving this newsletter for you. My mission remains the same: to help you dress and shop in a way that’s sustainable and authentic to your personal style. I have exciting plans for 2025, and I can’t wait to deepen our connection and expand this community even further.
